Terms of Service

Effective date: October 18, 2026

Your booking

Magellan 1519 LLC ("Magellan," "we," "us") operates magellan1519.com and sells tickets directly for the October 30, 2026 New York-Boston pilot. These terms and our Refund & Cancellation Policy apply to those direct purchases. Review them before paying.

Each ticket covers one rider on the direction, date and departure shown in the booking confirmation. Each leg has 28 passenger seats available for sale across all sales channels. Provide accurate rider and contact details and keep your confirmation available for boarding. If you buy for someone else, provide these terms and the trip information to that rider.

Complete the seat-selection step. If you have paid but cannot select a seat, email greetings@magellan1519.com for help. A technical problem with seat selection does not by itself cancel or forfeit a paid ticket. If we cannot provide a seat for your paid booking, we will give you a full refund for that ticket. Transfers follow our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Who provides the trip

Magellan sells tickets and coordinates bookings and rider communications. Magellan does not operate the bus or employ its driver. An independent licensed charter operator provides the bus, driver and transportation and is responsible for operating the vehicle safely. The driver may make changes reasonably needed for safety.

Magellan remains responsible for its own booking obligations, promised refunds and duties imposed by law. Nothing in these terms transfers those obligations to the driver or operator.

Schedules, changes and boarding

Be at the boarding location in your confirmation before the scheduled departure. The bus cannot wait for late riders. Arrival times are estimates, not guarantees of connections or arrival at a particular time.

Traffic, weather, road closures, government action, mechanical issues, operator failure and other events beyond our reasonable control may require changes to the schedule, stop or vehicle. We will email you promptly about changes we learn of. These events do not remove the refund rights described below or rights required by law.

If the pilot is cancelled, including because the charter operator cannot provide it, we will automatically refund the full amount paid for the cancelled service, including fees. You do not need to request the refund.

If one leg is cancelled, you are entitled to a full refund for the affected leg. We will not require you to accept rebooking instead of a refund when you are entitled to one. These terms do not remove rights required by law for transportation that is not provided or cannot be completed.

If a vehicle or seat substitution prevents us from providing the paid solo-seat tier, you may accept another available seat with a refund of the tier-price difference, or decline before travel and receive a full refund for the affected ticket. Refunds for rider cancellations and genuine no-shows follow our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

On board and removal

Treat the driver, staff and other riders respectfully. Follow reasonable safety instructions, use seat belts where provided, keep aisles clear and do not smoke or vape. Threats, harassment, violence, damage to property and unsafe behavior are not allowed.

The operator may refuse boarding or end a rider's journey when reasonably necessary for safety or serious misconduct and as permitted by law. This includes intoxication that creates a safety risk, threatening or seriously disruptive behavior, or refusal to follow reasonable safety instructions. Where lawful, removal or refusal caused by your own serious misconduct does not entitle you to a refund. This rule does not apply to mistaken refusal, overselling, failure to provide required accommodations or other failure by Magellan or the operator to provide your booked service. Any removal must be handled safely and lawfully.

Alcohol

Do not bring or consume alcohol on board. BYOB is not permitted. Magellan does not provide or serve alcohol.

Minors

Riders must be at least 18 years old on the date of travel. Riders under 18 are not eligible, even when accompanied by an adult.

Baggage and personal property

Keep valuables, medicines and essential personal items with you. Follow the driver's instructions for storing baggage; aisles, exits and safety equipment must remain clear. Do not bring illegal substances or dangerous or hazardous materials. Weapons may not be brought on board except as required by applicable law or expressly allowed by the operator under lawful procedures.

Each rider may bring a maximum of one checked bag. This limit does not restrict mobility equipment or other accommodations required by law. Follow the operator's lawful instructions for safely storing your bag.

Magellan does not take custody of baggage stored or handled by the operator. To the extent permitted by law, Magellan is not responsible for loss, theft or damage caused solely by another rider or the operator and not by Magellan's own acts or omissions. This does not waive a valid claim against the operator or any responsibility Magellan has under law. Contact greetings@magellan1519.com promptly about lost or damaged property so we can help coordinate with the operator.

Accessibility

Email greetings@magellan1519.com as early as possible about accessibility needs or boarding assistance so we can coordinate with the operator. Advance contact is a request for coordination, not a waiver of your rights or a blanket condition of travel. These terms do not limit rights concerning accessible transportation, mobility devices, service animals or reasonable accommodations under applicable law.

Travel risks and third-party conduct

Road travel involves risks, including traffic delays, sudden stops, mechanical problems and accidents. Follow safety instructions and use seat belts where provided. Acknowledging these risks does not waive any legal duty owed to you.

Subject to the exceptions below and only to the extent permitted by law, Magellan is not responsible for acts or omissions of the independent operator, its driver or other riders that Magellan did not cause or contribute to. To that same limited extent, you release Magellan from claims based solely on that third-party conduct. This does not release the operator or another responsible person from a valid claim, or release Magellan from liability for its own acts, omissions or legal duties.

Responsibility and limits

To the extent permitted by law, Magellan is not responsible for indirect losses, such as missed connections or lost income, arising from a delay or service disruption. Subject to the exceptions below, Magellan's total liability for direct economic loss arising from your booking is limited to the amount paid to Magellan for the affected booking.

The exclusions, release and cap do not limit promised refunds, liability for personal injury, fraud, gross negligence or willful misconduct, or any responsibility or remedy that cannot legally be limited. No blanket waiver of the operator's or Magellan's legal duties is created by these terms.

Responsibility for harm you cause

To the extent permitted by law, you are responsible for losses and reasonable costs that your unlawful, intentional or reckless conduct causes Magellan to incur in a third party's claim. This limited indemnity applies only to the portion attributable to your conduct. It does not require you to pay for Magellan's or the operator's own negligence or misconduct, another rider's conduct, or obligations that the law does not allow us to shift to you. Magellan must notify you of the claim and may not agree to a settlement imposing an obligation on you without your consent.

Law and the agreement

If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.

These terms, our Refund & Cancellation Policy and your booking confirmation form the agreement for your direct booking. They do not exclude mandatory consumer rights or erase specific descriptions and promises made to you when you purchased. Our Privacy Policy separately explains how we handle information.

Updated terms apply to future purchases, not retroactively to an existing booking.
