This policy covers tickets bought directly from Magellan1519 for our October 30, 2026 New York-Boston pilot. Each direction is a separate trip.

If you cancel

Cancel at least 48 hours before your trip's scheduled departure to receive your fare back, minus the payment processing fees actually incurred on your purchase and not returned by Stripe. We will show the deduction before you pay and explain it in your refund confirmation.

Inside 48 hours of departure, tickets are non-refundable. If you miss the bus or do not travel, you forfeit the ticket and receive no refund. These rules apply to rider cancellations, not a cancellation by Magellan.

If we cancel

If Magellan cancels the pilot, we will automatically refund every rider the full amount paid, including fees. You do not need to request this refund.

If one leg is canceled or materially changed

If Magellan cancels one leg or makes a material schedule or stop change, riders are entitled to a full refund for the affected leg.

Give your seat to someone else

Tickets are transferable to another person for the same trip and seat. Email greetings@magellan1519.com from the booking email address with your booking reference and the replacement rider's name and email at least 12 hours before the trip's scheduled departure. We will update the passenger record and send confirmation. Only one person can use each ticket.

How to request a cancellation

Email greetings@magellan1519.com from the booking email address with your name, booking reference and the trip you want to cancel. The time we receive your email determines whether you meet the 48-hour cutoff; you do not need to wait for our reply to meet it. The cutoff uses the departure city's local time.

Eligible refunds go back to the original payment method. Once issued, card refunds usually appear within 5-10 business days, depending on your bank.

Nothing in this policy limits refund rights required by law.
